Job Description:

Large church in College Station, TX is seeking to hire a Worship Ministry Associate to serve on a great ministry team. Central Baptist Church is a Southern Baptist congregation that hosts around 2500+ people each Sunday. Central is a dynamic church committed to using technology to create memorable worship experiences that incorporate Biblical teaching and passionate worship which result in authentic ministry.  

Position Description:

We are seeking a growing Christ-follower with excellent people and technical skills to work alongside the Worship Pastor in worship music and technical arts. 



  • Coordinate and rehearse the Worship Band
  • Assist with the Praise Team & Worship Choir rehearsals.
  • Plan weekly worship gatherings in coordination with the Worship Minister
  • Lead worship periodically for church worship services
  • Manage Ableton Live programming of worship sets, including integration with FOH audio, lighting and computer graphics.
  • Work with the Worship Minister on leadership development 
  • Assist the Worship Minister with other assignments associated with the overall Worship Ministry.   


  • Responsible for all aspects of media/technical production (i.e. audio, lighting, environmental graphics, and set design.)
  • Develop, train, recruit and lead media teams that include sound, lights, and computer graphics display.
  • Manage AVL systems throughout the church campus.
  • Manage classroom multi-media and coordinate usage with various church ministries.
  • Design, Develop and Manage:
    • Direct stage set-up and tear down for all Worship Center events
    • Coordinate with the appropriate leader for media needs of events that occur on campus, such as: seasonal productions, guest artist concerts, weddings, funerals, classes, conferences, etc…
    • Coordinate all rentals of lighting, sound, and video for events both on and off campus.
    • Oversee portable sound systems used church-wide.  Schedule and approve use and train operators
