Position Summary:

The Assistant to the Clergy provides administrative support to the Senior Minister and other clergy which includes assistance with worship preparation and execution (including Sundays), recruitment of lay participants, and support for weddings and other liturgical/sacramental services.  The Assistant participates as directed in scheduling clergy calendars, and interfaces with congregational leaders and members as an effective and circumspect collegial representative.  In support of the Church Administrator the Assistant maintains the database which includes all matters pertaining to persons affiliated with Christ Church.  Given an efficient administrative structure, the Assistant to the Clergy will assist in numerous tasks as directed by the Senior Minister and Administrator for excellent programmatic and pastoral outcomes, and will include a close working relationship with the Director of Connections/Communications.  The Assistant serves as Recording Secretary for the Leadership Council, Board of Trustees and weekly staff meetings.
