Chelten Child Development Center is a Christian preschool located in Dresher, PA.   As a ministry of Chelten Church, we are committed to providing a quality, early childhood program to our community.  Our staff reflect God’s love in a warm learning environment where children can grow physically, academically, emotionally, and spiritually.  Our children leave prepared to succeed in kindergarten and beyond.

Chelten Child Development Center is seeking an Assistant Director who demonstrates a strong faith in Jesus Christ and is passionate about ministering to children and their families. 

Responsibilities:

  • Supporting the Director in the day-to-day program management
  • Staff scheduling
  • Meeting licensing and Keystone STARs requirements
  • Offer support and mentorship for staff
  • Tracking and planning professional development hours for staff
  • Collaborate effectively with the administrative team

Requirements:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business or early childhood education
  • Experience in an educational setting
  • Experience in administration (2 + years preferred)
  • Knowledge of computer systems (Microsoft Office and database programs)

  • Effective management of several projects on a daily basis

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills

Full-time (30-40 hours) salaried position.  Pay determined by qualifications and experience.  Benefits (health, dental, vision) offered.
