Job Description:

Calvary Church, located in a growing suburb of St. Louis, is looking for a Children’s Ministry Elementary Director/ Associate Director who is passionate about leading kids, parents, and leaders into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ.  We are looking for a passionate leader who can lead our Elementary Ministry.


Calvary Church began in 1962 when a small group of people mortgaged their homes to start a church in St. Charles. While lots of things have changed since then, Calvary's core values have not.   • Help oversee and develop the Children's Ministry at Calvary's Mid Rivers Campus
  • In addition to weekend ministry, help lead and facilitate ministry for VBS, Winshape Day Camp and other special events
  • Continue to develp the ministry to special needs children within the church
  • Recruit, equip, lead and inspire ministry teams
  • Maximize opportunities for High School students to seve in the Children's ministry
  • Help create environments to help children come to know God's voice and learn how to respond to it
  • Develp an annual ministry plan and budge for your area of ministy
  • Engage parents through relational connections, actively recruit other parents and volunteers for service in the ministry
  • Help provide resources for parents and families to thrive
  • Participate in other ministry duties as determined by the Lead Pastor, Children's Pastor, and Elders
  • Attend Church staff meetings and participate in staff development
  • Working on the Mid Rivers Campus team, reports to the Children's and Family Ministries Pastor for all campuses
