The Associate Director of Children's Ministry at Christ Fellowship provides leadership support from the central level to the overall CFKids ministry by assisting with event planning and coordination, campus launch coordination and central office oversight. This position reports to the report to CFKids Core Director.  This is a full-time, salaried (exempt) position, and includes weekends and some nights.

  • College degree.

  • Three years’ experience in children’s ministry at a large and/or multi-campus church, or equivalent.

  • A call to long-term vocational ministry.

  • Successful experience building and leading teams.

  • Must be able to develop effective relationships with children and parents.

  • Excellent reliability and attendance.

  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills in Word, Excel, Outlook and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to solve problems, resolve conflict, and do initial counseling with volunteers and families when appropriate.

  • Ability to accomplish assigned projects through other ministry staff; utilizing highly developed communication (written and verbal), project management, time management and collaboration skills.

  • Ability to perform high quality, detailed work with minimum supervision within assigned deadlines.

  • Ability to think strategically while staying focused on the accomplishment of current departmental priorities.

  • Ability to handle confidential matters and material with excellence.

  • Must be able to stand, sit, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs.



  • Assist with the management the CFKids Core staff and department, ensuring responsibilities are being completed with excellence and within assigned deadlines.

  • Assist with leading Core meetings as directed by Core Director.

  • Assist with the weekend observation and evaluation of campuses on a regular basis to ensure core alignment indicators.

  • Plan and coordinate various core projects and events (including Easter, Christmas, summer camps, Project Serve and Fall Festivals) working with both Core staff and campus directors to accomplish goals.

  • Assist Core Director with planning and launching future campuses.

  • Attend weekly CF staff and CFKids staff meetings.
