Our goal at Southbrook Church is to help people connect and grow with God. In order to do this well, we are looking for someone to oversee our adult communities and 1st impression teams.
We make it a high priority that everyone is in a group to grow. To make this a reality, this role will ensure that structures and programs are in place so current group leaders are cared for and future group leaders are trained and equipped to lead new
groups. In addition, communities are available for people from all faith backgrounds, such as people who have never attended a church to those who have been part of a church family for years. Southbrook is unique in that 75% of our people have come in the
past four years and for many this is their first evangelical church experience. This role will also oversee events are part of the yearly calendar to help people discover what it means to be part of a church family, grow in their faith, and engage/serve with
our local community. To make all of this work well, this position will be responsible for the engagement pathway that leads a visitor to becoming an active member.
Southbrook places a high value on creating a welcoming environment for those who are new to church. This role is responsible for what people experience before and after each weekend worship service, or what we call first impressions. The person in this
role will make sure our teams before and after each service are ready and trained to care for anyone who walks through our doors.
We believe the person in this role must be able to inspire, equip, and multiply leaders and teams. They need to be creative, highly organized, and effectively manage multiple priorities and assignments. Due to how our current staff is organized, the role
requires someone who has strong administrative skills.
