Vail is an unincorporated community southeast of Tucson, Arizona, and is about 20 minutes from downtown Tucson.   The metropolitan area of Tucson has a total population of one million and most residents call it, “A big city with a small-town feel.”  Tucson is the second largest city in Arizona and is the 33rd largest city in the United States.  Tucson is known for its clean, dry air, has the southern-most ski resort in the U.S., has 300 days of sunshine and 11 inches of rain annually.

The high desert Tucson environment has very hot summers (numerous days over 100 degrees annually) and mild winters.  With all the sun and limited rain, there are plenty of opportunities for golf, tennis, biking, hiking, horseback riding, or sightseeing, as long as you don’t mind the heat. But the beautiful landscape, cool mild winters and gorgeous sunsets make it all worth it!
