About the Position:

The Executive Pastor of Discipleship manages the day-to-day operations of all pastoral care ministries. These include the Connect Groups, Dream Team Volunteers, ministry events, and the Leadership Academy. The Executive Pastor of Discipleship will work to ensure Pastor Stephen’s vision for Destiny Harvest Church is fulfilled on a daily basis. They will also work to help people connect to the life of the church as new believers, new guests or new members.

This position will provide leadership to build a church that is more than able to maximize every opportunity to impact our community for Christ. It will be a multi-faceted position involving full knowledge of all ministries of Destiny Harvest Church. The position will require strong recruiting skills, management skills and administrative dexterity, while maturity in leadership will be imperative for the role. The Executive Pastor of Discipleship will build working relationships with all departments and spearhead a member centered and value-added ministry experience at Destiny Harvest Church. They will essentially be responsible for developing action plans for fulfilling vision received from Pastor Stephen, and will focus on empowering people to fulfill that vision. 


What We Are Searching For:

The successful candidate for this role will have at least two years of full-time ministry experience in an executive role in a church. They will be driven, a ‘builder,’ and a ‘manager,’ with a leadership capacity that drives and motivates teams to not only achieve, but also exceed goals with a high sense of competency and integrity. The ideal candidate will be a leader, administrator, communicator, and pastor, respectively.


An undergraduate degree from an accredited institution.
