Life Groups Minister (Full-Time)


Northside Christian Church (NCC) is looking for an energetic, engaging person to join our Spiritual Formation Team to oversee our ministries designed specifically for women.  This is a shepherding role, being instrumental in the oversight and development of volunteers and programs with excellence.  We are looking for someone who has a heart for disciple-making, solid administrative ability and a desire to see the body of Christ grow.  NCC is a growing community of believers with the mission to connect unconnected people to Jesus Christ. We are an independent Christian Church that is an Elder protected, Staff led fellowship in New Albany, Indiana.




The Life Groups Minister, being part of the Spiritual Formation Team, will report directly to the Pastor of Spiritual Formation.  The Life Groups Minister is a full-time position that includes weekends with one weekend off each month and one day off each week.  This position needs to work well with volunteers, be an engaging leader and be an active recruiter in the ministry area. 




  • Oversee Women’s Life Groups and ministry gatherings
  • Recruit and develop Women’s Life Groups Leaders
  • Create new Women’s Life Groups opportunities
  • Assist in overseeing a designated region of Life Group Leaders
  • Recruit and develop Life Group leaders with affinity focused groups




  • Must be a follower of Jesus Christ, exhibiting a growing relationship and spiritual maturity
  • Must be a team player, yet a gifted leader
  • Must be comfortable with teaching and equipping others
  • Must possess strong team-building and leadership skills
  • Must be dependable, self-motivated and comfortable taking initiative
  • Must possess a strong work ethic with the ability to balance needs of family
  • Education – Bible college preferred
