Job Description:

New Venture is a 12 year old church in the midst of "replanting" herself.  We have a new Lead Pastor, new Associate Pastor, and a new vision.  We are looking for someone to help our church experience more of God through our worship experience with a Spirit led, God focused time of worship.

The Creative Arts Pastor role is to function as the strategic point leader on the design and execution of all New Venture's weekend services and special events.  High attention to quality and detail is required.    

The Creative Arts ministry will create worship environments and experiences that invite people to journey towards intimacy with God.

Skills; Abilities; Expectations  

1. To lead and develop a high quality Creative/Programming Team that delivers an excellent weekend experience .

2. Drive the quality/creative/spiritual standards (DNA) for the content of weekend experience.

3. Manage the Creative Arts budget.

4. Produce and publicize all video productions

5. Help each staff member publicize their events

6. Responsible for the Use of Social Media for Churches events

7. Help maintain NVCC's website

8. Lead all band and vocal rehearsals

9. Recruit and develop musicians (both technically and spiritually)

10. Schedule all weekend teams including all volunteer or paid musicians and vocalists (some churches include technical team scheduling in this role as well) 1

1. Lead worship at all weekend gatherings and special events Plan all elements of the weekend services and series (for example: song selection, video selection, scripture readings, etc.)
