Holland Road Fellowship - Director of Children's Ministries
The role of the HRF children’s ministry director is to guide children into a growing relationship with Jesus Christ through a developed, coordinated, and family-integrated children’s ministry. The foundational vehicle for this is the Sunday AM children’s
ministry at HRF (through 6th grade).
Our ministry relies on the work of dozens of volunteers every month.
One of the primary roles of the children’s director will be to schedule and recruit volunteers for the Sunday morning children’s ministries (nursery, classroom teachers, check-in desk, etc.)
Evaluate, select and purchase a curriculum that effectively teaches the Word of God to the children.
The director should develop a family-integrated model by coordinating Sunday AM curriculum with parental opportunities to teach at home.
Vacation Bible School:
The children’s director will be responsible for organizing, and facilitating an excellent Vacation Bible School each summer for the children of HRF.
Pine Cove Kid’s Conference
Each year, HRF takes a group of children to Pine Cove in east Texas for a kids conference. The children’s director will need to plan, organize rides, select adult volunteers, and lead the weekend retreat.
