Job Description:

The qualified candidate should:

  • Have a strong and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Preferrably hold a bachelor's degree in worship/music/theology
  • Be able to articulate their theology of worship
  • Demonstrate strong vocal talent and stage presence
  • Have the ability to lead worship from guitar or keyboard
  • Have a heart for the local church
  • Desire to be part of a team
  • Have a minimum of 2-5 years full-time local church ministry experience
  • Possess strong relational, verbal and interpersonal skills for managing team dynamics
  • Possess strong organizational skills
  • Possess the ability to multi-task
  • Be able to effectively build and lead teams of people through recruiting and equipping
  • Demonstrate a basic understanding of music theory and charting skills
  • Demonstrate strong songwriting skills which flow from a relationship with Christ
  • Have experience with Ableton Live, Logic Pro, Pro-Presenter, Planning Center Online, and/or Main Stage.
  • Demonstrate experience, excellence and creativity in stage design
  • Demonstrate some experience in video production.

Responsibilities will include but not limited to:

  • Work with the Worship Pastor to design and lead weekend worship gatherings with an emphasis on modern worship
  • Coordinate music teams at second campus to ensure Christ-centered, distraction-free worship gatherings
  • Manage projects as determined by the Worship Pastor
  • Attend weekly worship ministry and staff meetings
  • Build and assemble tracks in Ableton for band members
  • Provide training for modern worship instrumentalists 
  • Work with the Worship Pastor in discovering/writing new songs for the church to sing
  • Help disciple worship teams
  • Help recruit and integrate new volunteers into the ministry.
  • Assist in video production
  • Be involved with one off-platform ministry opportunity a week at the campus (outreach, hospital visit, men’s ministry, etc)
  • Continually develop talents and skills to be used for the worship (vocal, keyboard, guitar)
