CEDAR CREEK COMMUNITY CHURCH
Founded in 1997 in the Cedarburg-Grafton, WI community with a vision to be a place of healing, growing and transforming broken people into strong leaders for Jesus Christ.
The church has a small but thriving Children’s Ministry program that serves little ones, from birth through fifth grade. Looking to enlarge our Children’s Ministry to expand to middle school and high school ages. These dynamic ministries are well-led
by staff and adult leaders that meet regularly throughout the year.
Small groups are at the heart of our Adult Ministries. Our intention is to become a church of small groups. We want every person to experience the adventure of the Christian life in the company of friends.
The core of CCCC can be summarized as a come as you are place. Comfortably wearing jeans and a tee shirt or a suit and tie. Our services are designed with you in mind. Our music is contemporary and the weekly messages are relevant and transforming.
Our Sunday services are one hour in length with twenty-five minutes of praise and prayer and a thirty-five minute sermon. Our Worship Team uses a variety of instruments to aid us in our praise of God. We sing songs that turn us towards God and
exalt Jesus Christ.
With a population of nearly 30,000, the Grafton-Cedarburg area is located in southeast Wisconsin, about 30 minutes north of downtown Milwaukee on the shores of Lake Michigan. Grafton is known for its community activities, festivals, family values
and the arts.
Grafton WI is a community ripe with a population which is primarily White (91.9%) with a growing minority population (primarily Hispanic of 3%). Occupationally, the area is slightly more white- vs. blue-collar (69.3% to 30.7%). Average household
income is above the U.S. average, and Ozaukee County is the wealthiest county in Wisconsin.
Religious preference is spread evenly amongst those who identify themselves as strongly involved with their faith vs. those who identify as somewhat involved vs those not involved with their faith at all. Catholics (30%) and Lutherans (15%) make
up the largest religious segments, which mirrors the state as a whole. Approximately 6% identify as non-denominational, and 11% identify as not interested.
The area has a wide variety of educational opportunities. The Cedarburg-Grafton School Districts are highly ranked in the state.
The District consists of three elementary schools, one middle schools and Grafton High School seamlessly working together to ensure students graduate college and are care ready. Elementary schools feature blocks of time for literacy and math instruction
in addition to a rotational encore package (i.e. music, physical education, art and media/technology) to nurture the whole child. Middle schools feature block scheduling in core content areas and a planned exploratory program to ensure students experience
a wide range of opportunities as young adults. Grafton High School provides over 130 different academic and career-oriented courses, a full suite of world languages, robust music and fine arts offerings and a full slate of athletic opportunities.
The Grafton area is also blessed with excellent K-12 schools in the surrounding communities of Cedarburg, Mequon and Port Washington, which are all within a 10-minute drive from the church. There are also two Lutheran K-8 schools providing a Lutheran-based
education. St. Joseph’s Parish provides a pre-K through 12th grade Catholic education. Ozaukee Christian School is a private, non-denominational, traditional classroom Christian school for grades K3-8. This system provides a loving and safe environment that
is filled with the Word of God and academic rigor.
Higher education choices in Ozaukee County also include Milwaukee Area Technical College-Mequon Campus as well as Concordia University, a Lutheran liberal arts university founded in 1891. The University of Wisconsin–Milwaukee, 25 minutes south
of Grafton, offers bachelor, master, and doctoral degrees in an annual on and off campus enrollment of nearly 27,000.
