Production Tech Director (full-time)


Job Summary:

Temple Baptist Church has an immediate opening for a Production Tech Director who will be responsible for facility-wide live production venues with priority in the main Worship Center venue.  Expertise in audio and lighting engineering are preferred.


Job Description:

  • Oversees all areas of technical production in the facility (Worship Center, Student Worship, Children’s Theater, and Gym).  
  • Mixes weekly worship music and sermon for Broadcast, Podcast, and Vimeo
  • Prepares the stage for weekly services
  • Manages media in other venues of the church such as classrooms and meeting space.
  • Oversees the repair and maintenance of technical equipment in the church
  • Works closely with Media Director to plan weekly events and production needs
  • Attends monthly staff-wide meetings and weekly worship meetings
  • Engineers in-house recording studio needs (bands, choirs, groups, etc.)
  • Schedules Volunteers for weekly duties
  • Develops a new technical training program to help improve volunteer leadership
  • Remain informed of current AVL trends and new technologies in church ministry
  • Perform other tech duties as needed

  • Minimum 5 years experience engineering live production
  • Working knowledge and experience with Pro Tools HD, DigiDesign Venue console, High End Hog 4 Console, and other related production consoles
  • Experience leading volunteer teams
  • Understands and operates Adobe Creative Cloud software
  • Exercise good time management and planning skills
  • Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time
  • College degree in related field preferred
