Job Description:

A local church in the Tampa Bay area is seeking an individual who will bring glory to God by providing vision, leadership and congregational support for assigned campus ministry. Position is responsible to the Lead Pastor for the pastoral leadership and oversight of a campus location in order to carry out the overall mission of the church at that campus location.


This position will have technical, musical, and administrative work of ordinary difficulty and responsibility as a person who works in a visible and non-visible worship role.  Responsibilities include designing the structure of worship services, in consultation with other worship leaders, for weekend and special services; teaching and leading in small, medium and large group settings; providing leadership, vision, pastoral care, counseling and shepherding to this assigned ministry maintaining a passion for reaching the un-churched to achieve campus growth.   Will supervise the campus staff leadership team as it relates to day-to-day ministry and operational activities; overseeing the training and development of campus leadership team; recruit, train and equip a ministry team.


Position is full time (approximately 32-40 hours weekly), includes benefits;


The ideal candidate should possess strong leadership, communication, relational and organization skills, as they will be expected to lead and oversee various staff, teams, and individuals at the campus.  Be passionate, caring and approachable, and possess a pastoral heart for church ministry; have a committed and growing relationship with Jesus Christ; and be committed to evangelism.  Individual should be ordained, licensed or commissioned with a Bachelor’s degree in Theology or related field supplemented by two (2) years experience as a pastor and/or teaching; or any equivalent combination of education, training, and experience; and be in agreement with essential tenants of Reformed theology and this church’s expression of that theology.
