In 2004, Pastors David and Nicole Crank founded Faith Church, a non-denominational Christian church with over 18,000 active members and weekly attendees. The Executive Pastor of Ministries at Faith Church will serve by helping to identify and act upon ideas that enable the ministries of the church and its leading staff to operate more effectively and, in so doing, to better fulfill its vision. This position will work under the direction of the Senior Pastors, and share involvement in the future endeavors of the church, as they play a key leadership role in preserving a shaping the longstanding culture and DNA of Faith Church.


The Executive Pastor of Ministries will have direct oversight responsibilities in areas pertaining to the executive staff and general oversight of all ministry departments and operations, and ensure elements of each are efficiently and effectively managed. This role will ensure that the staff and ministries are all experiencing a sense of community, with each maximizing the use of their individual gifts to advance the Kingdom of God. As they develop, grow, and implement decisions within their designated authority, the Executive Pastor of Ministries will play a key leadership role in the following areas:
            Strategy and Leadership
            Team Development and Staff
            Ministry Operations
            Human Resource Management


The successful candidate for the position of Executive Pastor of Ministries must be organized and assertive, display excellence in the area of ministry strategy and execution, be highly relational, and maintain a heart for people with different personalities, skill sets, and backgrounds. 

While education is not a predetermining factor in the selection of a new Executive Pastor of Ministries, the successful candidate will likely have, at a minimum, a bachelor’s degree. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing a ministry in a community setting that has interactions with people from multi-generational backgrounds and economic statuses. The candidate will have at least 5-7 years of related experience, including a minimum of five years working as an effective leader of ministry teams at the senior level, with the responsibility of providing vision for staff/volunteers and the creation of various organizational goals and systems in a large/mega church context.


This role requires strong administrative giftedness, and a strategic mind that can deal with ambiguity, and envision and manage new initiatives. Alongside excellent verbal and written skills, the successful candidate must possess the ability to think biblically, creatively, and critically regarding how to help the local church and its staff as effectively as possible. The successful candidate must be progress and result-oriented, capable of turning ideas into action, and be a ‘ministry strategist.’


With campus locations in several areas of St. Louis, Missouri, as well as one in West Palm Beach, Florida, Faith Church’s impact is spread across several different communities, each with their own unique stories, demographics, and benefits.


With a population of over 2.8 million people, St. Louis is the 4th largest urban area in the Midwest, and 15th largest in the United States. The city is sited near the confluence of the Missouri and the Mississippi Rivers, where the heart of the Greater St. Louis region is located.


St. Louis is occupied by nearly 40 colleges, universities, and technical schools, some of the largest being Washington University in St. Louis, Saint Louis University and University of Missouri–St. Louis.
