Flatbush-Thompkins Congregational Church, (FTCC) recognized as a historical and architectural landmark within the Brooklyn community and the city of New York, is seeking a Senior Minister to lead its congregation.
Our Church traces its roots back to a group of Congregationalists who formed the Tompkins Avenue Congregatioal Church on June 6, 1875, and in 1942 merged with the Flatbush Congregational Church creating the Flatbush-Tompkins Congregational Church of Brooklyn.
FTCC is currently a member of the National Association of Congregational Christian Churches, (NACCC) with membership from diverse religious background.
FTCC is seeking a Senior Minister with strong leadership qualities whose teaching and preaching are Christ-centered and Bible-based. The Senior Minister will consistently deliver exegetical and inspirational sermons that have the power to transform the lives
of our members. The successful candicate will also be a spiritual resource for our youths and the community at large. A M.Div with at least five years experience with at least one post as a Senior Minister preferred and a proven record of growing a congregation.both
