Calvary Bible Church is a community of 2,000+ souls employing five pastors, several ministry directors, and a wonderful support staff.
Ministry Directors report directly to one of the pastors and no matter what ministry they're assigned to, be it Children's Ministry or Local Outreach or one of our many others at Calvary, they are responsible for discipling those volunteers and staff positions
that report to them, managing their budget well, updating their supervising pastor and seeking direction from him, and attending all required meetings. In other words, a ministry director at Calvary is not a pastor or an elder, but an executive, organized
"do-er" that must demonstrate a spiritual gifting in administration (1 Corinthians 12:28).
Ministry Directors at Calvary are expected to work M-F, and be prepared to work as needed on Sundays, depending on the position, specific needs, and season, for a total of 45-50 hours. Salary largely depends on education and experience, but generally ranges
from $35,000-$55,000. The benefit package includes health, dental, vision, sick/vacation days, and retirement.
Being considered for a staff position at Calvary Bible Church requires willingness to relocate to Kalamazoo, Michigan and become a member of Calvary Bible Church. Membership at Calvary requires agreement with our statement of faith and constitution, which
