The position of High School Pastor is a key position in an influential church. While many churches in the region have declined or ceased to exist—Timberlake has experienced eight years of steady growth. The High School ministry has been one of the stronger
ministries at TC, and it is the desire of the leaders to see this momentum continue.
The High School Pastor will be responsible for the coordination, recruitment, development, implementation, promotion, evaluation, and growth of High School Ministry at Timberlake Church, while successfully operating in a results-driven environment. This
position will oversee all aspects of High School Ministry, including weekend services, mid-week small groups, camps, retreats, and leadership development of all High School Ministry programs.
An undergraduate degree is strongly preferred for this position, and the ideal candidate for this position will preferably have a minimum of two years in full-time student ministry experience, in order to successfully execute the responsibilities of the
role. They will be highly self-motivated and entrepreneurial spirited with organizational competencies to scale. Alongside an exceptional ability to communicate, the prospective candidate will possess a strong leadership ability with an aptitude for recruitment,
development, and shepherding a team of volunteers. They will additionally acquire a thorough understanding of, and show proven experience with,
Deep and Wide and Simple Church models.
