Job Description:

Unleashing the potential of women & cultivating an environment of spiritual growth at GVF

Find out more here:

You would be wearing two hats, both of which need to be a nice fit. First, you’d be giving direction to our growing women’s ministry. We already have connecting events, Bible Studies, and a ministry team of motivated women. But we need you to come unleash the potential of these women and this ministry. Second, you’d be working closely with the staff team & key ministry leaders to get people deeply connected in the life (fellowship, service, worship, & mission) of GVF. As our church has nearly quadrupled in the past 6 years, we need your help. Your passion & drive to gather people into a place where they can grow in their faith will be essential to our mission of making disciples who make disciples. In both roles, you will need to be a leader, gatherer, recruiter, and trainer. But you really have to love connecting with new people. If this sounds good, read on.

Here are the major areas to which you would be contributing:

#1. Leading the Women of GVF (Women’s Ministry Leader).

#2. Connecting People into our Church Life (Community Life Director).

  • Inviting People In (Assimilation).
  • Connecting People in Accountable Relationships (Small Groups).
  • Supporting Service & Mission Opportunities (Service & Mission).

Bonus Features. You don’t have to do any of these, but we would consider any/all of these an added bonus: passion/ability to train in personal evangelism; proven ability to do leadership development; experience leading people in service & local outreach; experience in Cru, Navigators, InterVarsity or a similar disciple-making ministry; ability to run a 5 minute mile (just kidding about the last one).
