Located in beautiful Traverse City, Michigan, East Bay Calvary Church is looking for a senior pastor to lead a church of over five-hundred attendees. Comprised of an expansive church facility situated on fifteen rolling acres overlooking the East Grand Traverse Bay, an inlet of Lake Michigan, we are led by Dr. Kendale Dennis who has pastored the church for forty-four years and is looking to “pass the leadership baton” within the next year. The pastor is supported by a qualified professional staff and serves alongside church elders and deacons. The church is debt free and enjoys financially strong ministries, is affiliated with the IFCA, and is an associate member of Harvest Bible Fellowship.


Successful applicants must be a committed follower of Jesus Christ and believe in the absolute authority of scripture, have proven leadership skills, preaching excellence, skilled in vision development and execution, experienced in leading and developing multiple professional staff, dedicated to prayer and supportive of a vibrant prayer focus, attracted to church growth and community outreach, wholeheartedly support the church doctrinal statement, committed to understand and work within existing organizational structure, policies and procedures, open to a long-term ministry in Traverse City, and have ten years or more ministry experience.

East Bay Calvary Church

East Bay Calvary was formally organized and incorporated as a church in 1950, as an outgrowth of a Bible study group which had been meeting together for two years.
