Some of the job responsibilities include the following:

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Church Business Administrator shall be directly responsible to the Executive Director for the efficient administration of the business affairs of the church under the policies approved by the Church Board.  Responsibilities include duties in the following areas:

  • Administrative Responsibilities
    • Oversee the administration of all legal matters and custodianship of all corporate and legal documents.  Developing and maintaining close relationships with potential commercial lenders.  Exploring all available funding avenues
    • Supervise the work of subordinate staff members, meeting regularly with, and providing leadership to them in areas of individual goal setting and accountability
    • Participate in the church’s staff leadership teams
    • Work with appropriate committees and leaders to carry out the mission and ministry of the church
    • Approve all hired contractors and ensure they meet governmental requiremen
 
 
  • Data (IT)
    • Oversee the event management system - Service U
    • Develop and oversee computer operations to ensure that all regular administrative and departmental functions are automated, with data being accurate and readily accessible

 

  • Financial
    • Oversee the handling and receipting of contributions to ensure the security of the funds and accurate record keeping
    • Coordinate development and preparation of the general church and departmental budgets
    • Oversee the payroll operations of the church, including tax reporting and compliance with applicable personnel laws
    • Establish and maintain inventory of all assets

 

  • Facilities
    • Forecasting expansion costs and proposing capital sources
    • Oversee the acquisition and maintenance of all facilities, vehicles and equipment
    • Oversight for the maintenance and general activity needs related to the building, grounds and additional facilities/equipment of Christian Life Center
    • Coordinate and direct custodial and maintenance personnel to maintain a high standard for all church property and facility maintenance and care
    • Responsible for the security of the facility and grounds
    • Supervise and manage off-campus real estate
    • Plan for and supervise the growth and expansion of the church campus and facilities, 

 

  •  Preform any other duties as requested by the Executive Director
