Job Description:

We are a multi-ethnic congregation located in the northwest corner of New Mexico, 45 miles south of Durango, Colorado. Farmington has a population of 45,000 and is the shopping hub for all of the Four Corners region.  We have easy access to the mountains of Colorado and numerous outdoor activities are available nearby.  We are on the border of the Navajo Reservation so a heart for missions is important.  It is helpful if the candidate has connections to or familiarity with the culture of the southwest.  We are eager to reach those who do not know Christ as Savior and we want to serve our community.  We average 450 in our three weekend services.  One service on Saturday evening and two on Sunday morning.  Our worship style is contemporary (Hillsong, Bethel, Jesus Culture, Elevation, Church on the Move, etc.).


Experience Required: Must be a skilled vocalist with the ability to lead from keyboards and/or guitar.  Assemlbies of God ministerial credentials preferred.


Education Required: Bachelor Degree in Music preferred or equivalent experience 



Requirements for the Worship Pastor position:


      Must have a vibrant relationship with God and a demonstrable passion to lead others in worship of God


    Important to have technical abilities with computers, lighting systems, sound mixing (both live and         recorded) with an Avid Venue Digital Audio Mixer and Aviom in-ear monitor system and the ability to troubleshoot.


Must have a working knowledge of the following software:
      Protools HD

      Adobe  (Including Premier Pro, Audition, After Effects)

      D-Show (Software for Avid Venue Digital Audio Mixer)


      Planning Center 


      Needs to be familiar with livestreaming.  Both of our Sunday morning worship services are livestreamed.  Website


      Must have the ability to lead skilled musicians and singers and be willing to raise up talented musicians and singers


      Will work closely with the Lead Pastor in creating the weekend service and serve as the leader of the Creative Team.


      Must be able to function well in a multi-staff setting and work in cooperation with other staff members



Salary: Determined by education and experience.
