The church boasts a rich heritage of loving and serving others since its inception on April 1, 2001. Since that first service, Prairie Heights has continued to serve the cities of Fargo, West Fargo, Moorhead and surrounding communities through helping families stay together, seeing practical needs and meeting them, and providing relevant relational environments for people of all ages to grow. Prairie Heights has sustained over 15-years of a successful ministry to the area, and continues to thrive and grow, as they dream big, and trust God beyond their resources.


The Chief of Staff at Prairie Heights Community Church will be a ‘Second-In-Command’ next to the Founding and Senior Pastor. This individual will form a trusting, and authentic relationship with the Senior Pastor, so as to take the vision of the church to the next level. They will complement the strengths of the Senior Pastor, in terms of vision casting, relational collaboration, professionalism, and accountability, while offering their own strengths of momentum-building, managerial leadership, and strategic foresight.


The successful candidate will preferably possess a bachelor’s degree in a related field, with a scope of experience demonstrated by loyalty and proven successes in different levels of leadership, challenges, and impact. The ideal candidate will also have a history of maintaining departmental leadership responsibilities at a large and growing church with a successful track record of creating structures, systems, building teams, managing staff, and leading growth. A deep understanding of the unique nature of ministry in the local church, with a track record of effective service, growing disciples, and leadership development in a church setting will be imperative in this role.
