GCC Roanoke seeks a self-motivated, dynamic, and anointed children's ministry leader. We’re looking for someone who loves Jesus, has a heart for serving, and a desire to lead our team of 20-25 volunteers and roughly 30-40 kids in children's church each Sunday.
We have 4 classrooms - nursery, toddlers, PreK-K, and 1st-5th grade.
We are a growing, multi-ethnic, non-denominational church situated on a 23-acre campus inside the city of Roanoke, Virginia. We were founded more than three decades ago and are currently expanding our building, creating 3-4 times more space for kids. We
have one contemporary worship service each Sunday from 10:30am-12 noon.

We’re looking for someone with Biblical knowledge and theological discernment, previous ministry experience, strength in leadership, and ministerial influence. Excellent communication skills, administrative abilities, and motivation to work autonomously
are required. Also important is the ability to recruit and coach other ministry leaders and volunteers. Most important is a pasison for kids and abitlity to lead a team.
This position requires 8-12 hours of work per week in exchange for free housing (for either a single person or married couple) in a refurbished 3-bedroom first-level apartment in a house on our 23-acre campus. This leaves more than enough time for other
employment and/or college enrollment. At this time, housing and utilities are the only compensation for this position. We also have similar positions open (8-12 hours per week) leading youth and/or leading worship.
