Job Description:


We’re looking for a creative and productive graphic designer who is motivated to use their gifts to create compelling and culturally relevant design, both digitally and in print. You’ll help mature, refine and, at times, reimagine the branding and design of Gateway, its ministries and initiatives, including sermon series, website, event promotions and environmental designs. You may also build a team of volunteers and/or work with contract designers. You’ll need to be able to juggle multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, receive constructive feedback, and be a flexible team player.



  • Portfolio of professional published work (please include a link in your application)

  • Project management – has managed project processes and deadlines

  • Personal spiritual maturity

  • Recruited & lead volunteers

  • Ministry – ideally spiritual leadership roles (small groups, volunteer teams, etc.)

  • Technical – proficient in Adobe Creative Suite and understands print guidelines

  • Basic understanding of web design (HTML and CSS); scripting knowledge would be a major plus

  • Project management

  • Ability to work within a fast-paced, project driven environment

  • Communication – phone skills, writing, creative communication

  • General – organization, multi-tasking, cultural relevance

  • App design would be a plus


  • Degree and/or professional training in Graphic Design
