We exist to lead people into a transformational relationship with Jesus Christ and impact our world through His grace.

Senior Pastor Ray Kollbocker came to Parkview Community Church 20 years ago when it was only 70 people. From the beginning, Parkview set out to spiritually influence the western suburbs of Chicago in relevant and relational ways. As a result of inspiring vision and teaching over the years, Parkview has over 1,500 attendees each weekend today. Parkview can be described as a highly relational community of people. They value authenticity, embrace diversity, and are naturally drawn to engage in conversations and relationship with those from different backgrounds and opinions. Parkview has a strong missional mindset and is very intentional with serving the underserved in the greater Glen Ellyn area and beyond.

Parkview Kids exists to partner with parents to lead children into a transformational relationship with Jesus and impact their world through His grace. A bachelor’s degree in a related field is desired, while the ideal candidate will possess a proven history of success as a staff member or a volunteer in children’s ministry. Specific skills and competencies to effectively execute the responsibilities of the position will include:

  • Ability to communicate clearly and cohesively in a multi-functional organization.

Glen Ellyn is a medium-sized village located in the state of Illinois. It is home to many people who could be described as 'urban sophisticates,' a group of individuals who are not only wealthy and employed in professional occupations, but also highly educated. These individuals have urbane tastes, whether they reside in a big or small city, a suburb, or a little town. They support bookstores, quality-clothing stores, enjoy big city travel, and are truly patrons of the arts such as opera, symphony, ballet, and theatre. Families with children who live here make Glen Ellyn a place where both parents and children are more likely to develop social ties with other families, as well as find family-oriented services and community.
