Job Description:

The Mission Community Church is a dynamic, multi-ethnic church in the Capital District of New York. We are seeking a creatively gifted leader with an ability to teach, provide servant-leadership, and connect people to serve as our next Campus Pastor.


This is a Full-time, salaried position with a 40 hour minimum work week.


Candidates should demonstrate a strong ministry calling to the Northeast, have at least three years experience serving in a local church, a passion for team building, and the aptitude to perform a broad range of ministry skills as part of a healthy, life-giving church.



Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from Bible college or seminary

Exceptional relational skills

Effective communicator

High spiritual integrity and a growing relationship with Christ

Experience recruiting, training, developing and leading volunteers


Duties and Responsibilities

Direct two weekend worship experiences

Mentor and develop key ministry leaders

Preach regularly

Understand modern church media

Create compelling worship experiences

Facilitate small group teaching

Be comfortable with a multisite campus model

Collaborate with worship leaders and other pastors

Disciple others to grow more deeply in love with Jesus

Communicate through social media

Provide counseling, mentoring, and pastoral care

Reproduce the mission, vision and ministry of The Mission Community Church

Work directly with the senior pastor.
