Reports To: Digital Media Manager
Job Purpose: To fulfill our mission by utilizing the gift of language to create and improve
content on and off the web with a unique and consistent voice to support the overall ministry
-Taking chief responsibility for being the “voice” of Glorieta 2.0 Inc in all print and web
-Aiding in the creation of longterm campaigns for all facets of marketing
-Assisting in the development and scheduling of social media content with other team members
-Continuous editing/evaluating of media material
-Seeking out opportunities for press releases to be created
-Maintaining consistency of voice across all avenues of marketing
Other Duties of ALL Glorieta 2.0 Staff:
Glorieta 2.0 operates yearround. We have guests on the premises almost every day of the year.
Serving guests is our number one priority, and therefore ALL staff must participate in guest
service in some capacity. Tasks may include cooking, cleaning, facilitating group activities,
running retail locations, general maintenance of camp property, and work projects as needed.
There are often groups here on weekends, and all staff members will be required to work certain
weekends as needed.
Education, Abilities, Skills, Experience:
The “ideal” candidate will have:
• A bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Journalism or equivalent
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills (knowledge of AP style
•Experience in social media management
•Willingness to perform routine tasks regularly and on time, with deadlines weekly
and monthly for most tasks.
•Passion for discovering and implementing new and innovative forms of
•Basic graphic design skills are a plus (Adobe Creative Suites)
Work Context:This job will be performed primarily on location at Glorieta 2.0.
Travel:Some travel will be required of this position.
Ability to walk/hike throughout property in order to obtain video/photo footage of camp life.
Ability to work for long periods of time in a singular location, both sitting and standing
Will consistently work indoors but will occasionally need to venture outdoors despite
unfavorable weather conditions in order to create marketing videos/photos.
