About I-90 Community Church:
I-90 Community Church began in 2009 with a small handful of friends and has since grow into a thriving community of over 500 adults and children, with an average Sunday attendance of over 350. Strategically placed in the fast growing suburbs of Seattle,
WA, I-90 extends the Gospel of Jesus in one of the most unchurched areas in the country. Life at I-90 is all about authentic relationships with each other as we explore our culture’s unique expression and participate in a life that whole-heartedly follows
Jesus. We strive to be Bible based, Gospel centered and culturally relevant.
Kids love coming to I-90 and engage in a fun, interactive environment. Services are exciting, media driven, and held in our 12,000 sq/ft bouncy house arena. About 50 passionate and trained leaders support the ministry and facilitate gatherings through
the Orange curriculum.
As a staff, working at I-90 is fun and team oriented. The leaders are close knit and support everyone’s unique passions with a high level of collaboration. Since the utmost value is placed on family life and personal health, the group functions with balance
About the job:
We are looking for a leader to pastor our Children’s Ministry with a calling to engage kids in the Gospel. The ideal candidate will be a gifted teacher in large group environments with experience in creative and high energy service planning. They will
have a proven track record of diligent leadership and organization of a ministry team including staff and volunteers. The ideal candidate will also have experience with the Orange curriculum and can thrive in a collaborative team environment.
- At least 3 years experience leading programs and teams in children’s ministry
- Strong administrative/organizational skills
- Ability to coordinate with both children’s staff and volunteers, including nursery and preschool ministry leaders
- Function with a high value of excellence while prioritizing personal health and margin
Hours + Compensation:
PT/FT status and compensation dependent upon qualifications and experience
