Who We Are:
EBC was officially constituted as a church in 1890 by Swiss Mennonites in a rural farming community outside of Salem, Oregon. It withdrew from the General Conference in the early 1980’s but continues today with third and fourth generations of families with
the same last names as the founders. We average around 500 in attendance between our two Sunday morning services and currently have two full time pastors, a full time director of youth ministries, and a ¾ time director of children’s ministries supported
by a full time office manager and ½ time administrative assistant.

We are seeking a qualified leader to fill a ½ time position (anticipated to eventually develop into a full time position) as Worship Pastor. This pastor will equip others to lead group worship, help integrate worship into all aspects of EBC life, and will

2) Have a shepherd’s heart
3) Be a worshiper who is able to lead others to worship
