LIFE GROUP & CONNECTION PASTOR
REPORTS TO: Campus Pastor

This position furthers the spiritual mission of Harvest Christian Fellowship.
The Life Group & Connection Pastor leads the Life Group ministry* and guest connection ministry of a Harvest Christian Fellowship campus. The Life Group & Connection Pastor’s two main objectives are to strengthen leadership of, and participation in, Harvest’s
Life Group ministry and to further Harvest’s overall ministry through guest connection.
The Life Group & Connection Pastor works directly under the Campus Pastor and remains accountable to him in all areas of performance. In his or her leadership role, the Life Group & Connection Pastor recruits, trains, manages, retains, and leads existing
and potential Life Group leaders in their service to Harvest Christian Fellowship. The Life Group & Connection Pastor oversees all programs, systems, activities, and events related to Life Groups. Finally, the Life Group & Connection Pastor connects, with
a sincere and open attitude, to a wide range of church members, church visitors, and those in the community.
This position requires well-developed leadership ability, an active and growing relationship with God, and a genuine care for all people. The Life Group & Connection Pastor must listen well and communicate effectively in a variety of different situations.
The Life Group Pastor must have the ability to effectively interact with people of different ethnic and socio-economic backgrounds. The ability to communicate effectively in Spanish is preferred. Harvest requires that applicants for this position have a minimum
of three years of experience in a position related to Life Groups, guest connection, or a similar ministry area, as well as a bachelor’s degree.
*Each Harvest Christian Fellowship maintains an active and growing Life Group ministry. Life groups are small groups of church attenders, usually consisting of 15-20 people, that meet regularly in someone’s home to fellowship, discuss sermon application,
and pray for one another.
