Job Description:

Community Presbyterian Church (CPC), Danville, CA is prayerfully seeking an Associate Pastor to equip and lead the people of CPC to know and share the gospel so that many come to know Christ. This dynamic person will support the vision to “seek, serve and send” by encouraging and equipping people to “love God and love your neighbor”. We are pursuing a Pastor with proven ability as a spiritual and organizational leader, and an exceptional gift for Evangelism, Marriage & Family, Missions and Men’s Ministries.


The Associate Pastor will be apart of an thriving team of Pastors and report to the Senior Pastor of CPC. Providing primary leadership and hosting for Video Café worship services, as well as help lead/host the Saturday Night worship service will be a key element to this position. In addition, overseeing the Director of Missions and partner with Missions leadership to champion CPC Mission’s efforts. CPC has a large Men’s Ministry and this Associate Pastor will lead weekly Men’s Bible study and quarterly Men’s Dinners as well as share in the leadership of CPC Men’s ministries.


Danville is situated in the San Ramon Valley, roughly 30 miles east of

San Francisco, in a beautiful suburban setting. CPC was founded in 1865 and God has grown the congregation and its reach through many faithful generations. CPC joined the EPC in 2010. CPC is blessed to have an engaged congregation who contributes its time and talents to help fulfill CPC’s purpose of “People Meeting Christ and Living as His Disciples” in the San Ramon Valley, greater Bay Area and through mission partners throughout the world.
