Role:  To lead the tC adult community group ministry in synergy with tC vision/values/culture and within the context of our multi-site strategy.


Overview:  Building on the stated purpose of: “we aren’t a church with community groups, we are a church of community groups”, the Lead CG Pastor will set the vision and direction for the overall CG ministry that results in 70% of our average adult worship attendance engaged in groups. In short, the Lead Community Groups Pastor is the chief strategist who ensures execution of the strategy.


Relationships:  The Lead Community Group Pastor will supervise all CG staff and lead his/her staff to work closely and cooperatively with tC Campus pastors in the implementation of our CG strategy. The Lead CG Pastor directly reports to the People Development Leader. Other relationships to value/foster include: tC Operations Team, tC Media Team, tC Glocal Team, and tC Care Team.
