    • Maintaining a Budget for Supplies

    • Meet and Care for Volunteer Leaders Regularly

 

KEY OBJECTIVES:

 

This staff person is responsible for the support of church wide volunteer recruitment, training, scheduling and recognition. This includes leadership and coordination of a volunteer check-in team, processing communication cards, managing the Volunteer Pipeline, coordinating volunteer orientation, ministry fairs and recognition events.

 

QUANTATIVE EXPECTATIONS:

    • Volunteer Recruitment & Assimilation

    • Volunteer Teams are serving at a level of once every other week.

    • Training is to be consolidated within the apprentice model.

    • Every term present some sort of volunteer appreciation.

    • Identify and coach new leaders for each term.

    • Maintain monthly conversations with each team leader (RPM’s)

The successful candidate will have a deep and growing relationship with God, active involvement in the leadership of a church, and a commitment to maintaining healthy accountable relationships. A Christ honoring lifestyle marked by, servanthood, generosity, joy, love for bible study and prayer. A growing passion to shepherd others in their walk with God and to work effectively with many key leaders is necessary. Integrity in finances, relationships, and time management is expected.

 

COMPETENCY:

 

Knowledge of spiritual formation; demonstrated experience in successful team development in a medium to large church; proven experience in team building, vision-casting and training leaders for ministry; ability to thrive in a fast-moving environment; tactical thinker with proven ability to equip leaders and organize functional structures; transformational leader of leaders; effective communicator to adults of all ages; proven effectiveness in a multi-staff setting; able to connect multi-generationally; seminary or bible college degree from an accredited institution is preferred, or equivalent time in a ministry role.

 

WORKING RELATIONSHIPS AT 2|42:

 

The Brighton Guest Services Director reports directly to the Brighton Campus Pastor.  The position will also work closely with our Community Life Department working to bridge the gap between being a part of a community and serving that very same community.

Experience/Qualifications

 

• A bachelor degree preferably in a ministry related field

• 5 years of ministry experience preferable

• High level & effective developer of teams

 

SALARY:

 

• Starting annual salary 40-50k dependent upon experience
