The Growth & Groups Pastor will reach people for Christ, equip believers, and nurture all in their faith by creating life-giving, genuine, and passionate community that transforms lives throughout the church and extends outward. This position will have oversight of the spiritual growth and maturation of the body of Christ at CCC. They will carry out this role as a member of the staff team, while working directly with the Senior Pastor, leading and empowering believers of the church.


The Growth & Groups Pastor will support and undergird the spiritual and relational growth, as they support all discipleship and small group endeavors of the church. They have the capability of handling multi-faceted ministries as a developer and a strategist. Success in this position will be determined by the significant numerical increase in groups and participants evident within the Small Groups Ministry, as well as the effective development of the growth and discipleship track.


A college degree is required for this position, although a seminary degree would be highly preferred. Alongside this educational requirement, the successful candidate will possess:


  • A minimum of 4-6 years in church-related ministry.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Ability to think strategically and provide direction.
  • Experience in developing and working in team-based environments.
  • Ability to live an exemplary life modeling the call, character, and competencies of a follower of Jesus Christ.
