Position:  Audio Tech Coordinator 

Vision:  To direct and manage all audio, video, and lighting aspects of Mariners Church, Mission Viejo Campus.

Its other locations in Mission Viejo, Huntington Beach and Ocean Hills are part of the growing Mariners Church Network. Leadership Network has it as #35 on its list of the largest churches in America and, even at its current size, it’s still in the list of top 50 fastest growing churches, according to Outreach Magazine.


This position is for our quickly growing South Orange County Campus of Mission Viejo. 

Salary: 40K plus benefit package.

  • Full knowledge of audio, video, and lighting systems
  • Full knowledge of ProPresenter
  • Experience with IEM system (we just switched from Aviom to LiveMix)
  • Working Knowledge of Planning Center Online
  • Demonstrates strong and growing walk with Christ
  • Must be adaptable - demonstrating a positive and flexible attitude
  • Must have servants heart and maintain great rapport with others
  • Demonstrated prioritization, organizational and administrative skills
  • Excellent verbal communication skills



  • Oversee various events from Audio Tech perspective.
  • Set up and prep stage for Weekend Experience (Setting up equipment and updating ProPresenter) 
  • Research and suggest (and when authorized) purchase new equipment for the growing needs of the church campus.
  • Maintenance and upkeep of all A/V equipment.
  • We are a developmental culture: Must value recruiting and training up Audio/Tech volunteers. 
  • Schedules volunteers through Planning Center.
  • Always be learning: Must attend Audio/Tech specific conference/and or workshop once a year.  
  • Plan and assist in set builds (depending on season)

  • Connects with and maintains excellent relationship with Irvine Campus tech leaders 



Key Relationships: 

  • Reports to and works closely with Worship Pastor
  • Works closely with Music Director and Experience Coordinator



**Important: As you are praying through your next season - Keep in mind we are looking for someone who enjoys worshiping to the musical style of Bethel, Jesus Culture, All Sons & Daughters..etc. If you don't enjoy or listen to these groups very often, this might not be a good fit as we are trying to find the right audio engineer that will continue gearing our overall mix towards this style.
