The chief of staff (COS) is responsible for a wide range of duties that lead to the health of the entire organization. The candidate will provide exceptional leadership and effective management in all areas of staffing and personnel, administration, project
completion, community engagement, and development. The department managers generally report directly to the chief of staff.
- The candidate must possess a minimum of a bachelor’s degree in business (or a related field), though an MBA is preferred.
- The applicant must have a minimum of 10 years in middle to upper management positions; possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to multi-task in a fast paced environment.
- The COS must be a team builder, with the ability to develop and supervise a group of professionals while keeping production up and the team on task.
- The COS is also responsible for the analytics of their sphere of control.
