Job Title: Youth Pastor

Reports to: Pastor of People Development


Full Time/Exempt


Job Summary:

  • This person will serve as the youth and young adults pastor (mid-high to early 20’s) at Hillspring Church with a focus on sharing the hope and compassion of Jesus through the four-core processes of inviting, incorporating, transforming and sending.



  • To develop, coordinate and administer an expanding youth ministry that allows the youth and young adults to grow in their relationship with God, each other and the world and move deeper into who God has called and created them to be.

  • To develop and lead a team of volunteers who will cultivate a positive and impactful relationship with the youth, young adults and their families within the Hillspring community and greater Tri-cities area.

  • To partner with the Hillspring leadership and community to create a culture that is intentionally intergenerational and complements other ministries.

  • To equip and lead the youth on vision trips both domestic and international.

  • To come alongside parents/guardians on a regular basis, involving and informing

    them in all things youth ministry related.

  • To be an active part of the preaching team.


  • Other duties as assigned.


  • One who exhibits a personal and growing relationship with God, a teachable spirit, and a healthy family life.
  • A Bachelors degree in a related field. Advanced degree in theology or related field preferred.

  • A minimum of three to five years of hands-on experience.

  • One who has demonstrated success in strategic planning, development, guidance

    and execution of youth ministries.

  • Good communication and organizational skills.

  • Strong team player skills and the ability to work with a diverse workforce.
