Glen Ellyn Bible Church is a community of people learning to follow Jesus and being transformed by a relationship with God.

In September 1943, a merger between two small churches in Glen Ellyn took place–the First Evangelical Church and the Gospel Tabernacle, which today, is known as Glen Ellyn Bible Church. Upon progressive improvements to the facility, leadership, and programming components over the years, Glen Ellyn marked a new era in its ministry in January 2015, with the launching of Engage Vision - a movement born out of prayer, seeking God’s wisdom for what was next in the life of the church. Today, this vision guides every aspect of Glen Ellyn Bible Church and proves to be a catalyst of its growth.

As the church looks ahead, it is thankful for its heritage and God’s faithfulness to its community of faith. The community of believers at Glen Ellyn is also excited about what they believe God has called them to do in reaching the broken and in growing followers of Christ.

The Growth & Groups Pastor is responsible for the overseeing, planning and producing of all aspects of local outreach and adult ministry programming of Glen Ellyn Bible Church. Glen Ellyn is a medium-sized village located in the state of Illinois. It is home to many people who could be described as "urban sophisticates," who are people who are not only wealthy and employed in professional occupations, but highly educated. Urban sophisticates have urbane tastes, whether they reside in a big or small city, a suburb, or a little town. They support bookstores, quality-clothing stores, enjoy big city travel, and are truly patrons of the arts such as opera, symphony, ballet, and theatre. Families with children who live here make Glen Ellyn a place where both parents and children are more likely to develop social ties with other families, as well as find family-oriented services and community.
