Our church has an average attendance of 550-600. We have services on Sunday morning at 11:00am, Sunday night Bible Study at 6:00pm, and a Senior Adult worship service on Wednesday mornings at 11:00am. Our church was originally planted as a "independent,
fundamental, KJV-only, piano-'n-organ, suits-'n-ties" Baptist Church, but has had extreme shifts through the years. We have a multi-generational congregation (equally young and old) that has successfully transitioned into an increasingly contemporary and organic
community of worshippers (without the blood-shed of "worship wars.") We believe that music should unify us through cultivating a culture of Christ’s preeminence, rather than focusing on the type of music we do. The ultimate goal of a worship service is an
increasing awareness of the presence and glory of God, and a decreasing awareness of self. (Though the congregation is multi-generational, the morning worship services would strongly lean toward a contemporary style of worship, while the Sunday evening service
would be more of a "blended style"). HBC has a spiritually-minded leadership team of deacons and pastors who have draw our church to seek and value the mind of Christ concerning worship, rather than contention of differing opinions in music preferences.
