Director of Youth Ministries - Fort Smith FUMC - Fort Smith, AR


First United Methodist Church of Fort Smith is currently accepting resumes for the full-time position of Director of Youth Ministries. FSFUMC is a large membership, downtown church in the heart of historic Fort Smith, Arkansas. Youth Ministry has long been a strength and continues to be a high priority of FSFUMC. Job includes opportunities to serve in college ministry as well. Applicant will be an active disciple of Jesus Christ with a passion for helping teens grow in their faith in relation to the local church. Other requirements include a BS/BA degree, a commitment to the United Methodist Church/Wesleyan theology, experience in youth ministry, and a self-starter attitude. Other ministry skills, training specific to youth ministry, and/or theological education are a plus. Competitive salary commensurate with experience and education.
