To live and give the life Jesus promises.

Our Lord's Community Church (OLCC) started in the 1970's with a handful of couples who wanted something more than “normal church.” Specifically, the early values included devoted living/discipleship, community service, impassioned worship, practical Bible teaching, the equipping/ministry by the people, and a robust experience with the Holy Spirit. The longstanding core value of OLCC is the seamless unity between the Word and the Spirit (Word-Spirit). It holds a deep reverence for Scripture, while sustaining a deep dependence on the Spirit. These two qualities are interwoven within the very fabric of the church's DNA and are mirrored through its ministry programming.

The next Lead Pastor of Our Lord's Community Church will be committed to Word and Spirit. He must have a deep reverence for the Scriptures, and a deep dependence on the Spirit. He needs to have a highly competent leadership aptitude, to provide vision and leadership for the staff and the church. The Lead Pastor is to “equip and lead” the congregation and staff of Our Lord's Community Church. This individual will champion and lead the charge in fulfilling the vision and values of the church. Essentially marked by qualities of servant leadership, he will be a visionary leader who has a 'player-coach' mentality with the ability to inspire, equip, and deploy disciples for the Kingdom and the overarching ministry of OLCC.

The Lead Pastor will be the primary spiritual leader for OLCC, as well as the primary preacher/teacher who will bear responsibility for teaching biblical truth in a way that is true, clear, compelling, and practical. Alongside this endeavor, this position will offer executive leadership to the future of OLCC through strategic foresight, program implementation, and operational development. A Master of Divinity degree or equivalent will be desirable for this position, although 5+ years of experience as a Lead Pastor, alongside a history of experience in an executive leadership role in ministry is required.
