Job Description:

The student ministry at Plum Creek Church is committed to reaching the 7,000+ middle school and high school students that live in the Plum Creek Valley.  In our relentless pursuit of a strategy that will continue to reach more and more students for Jesus, we are looking for someone to help us engage a generation of students living in a post-Christian culture. We are currently seeking a full-time team member who will oversee all aspects of programming and outreach environments for students.

The Student Pastor (Programming and Outreach) should be (1) passionate about creating experiences that connect with unchurched, disengaged students, (2) extraordinarily innovative, (3) relentless in the pursuit of excellence, (4) highly relational, and (5) collaborative. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful programming, be a student of popular culture, possess a strong desire to work in a team environment, with an entrepreneurial spirit at the core of their work ethic.

In essence, this individual will be a maximizer, a forward-thinker, a developer, an organizer, an inspirer, and an exceedingly skilled communicator.  If you are ready to dream big, innovate and impact an entire city, then this might be the team for you.

Plum Creek is located in beautiful Castle Rock, Colorado, which boasts 300 days of sunshine and a majestic 180-degree view of the Rocky Mountains.  Just 30 minutes from Denver to the north, and Colorado Springs to the south, Castle Rock has a population of over 56,000 and is expected to reach 100,000 by the end of the decade.

Though the area is growing rapidly, there are some aspects of Castle Rock that haven’t changed. The downtown area remains the heart of the city, lined with locally owned restaurants and specialty stores. The area also hosts community events; including a holiday Starlighting festival, rodeo, and parades.

Plum Creek Church was founded in August of 2006 by Doug and Beth Miller.  The first 7 years were spent in a movie theater before moving into a permanent facility in 2013.  Plum Creek Church is strategically positioned for growth over the next 10 years.  As Castle Rock continues to grow exponentially, we have plans for campus expansion and extensions of our ministry model.

Interested candidates should apply at  Do not apply through the Church Staffing website. In addition, please send a recent photo, any available work samples (services you’ve produced, demo reels, website, etc), and any other helpful or pertinent materials to
