Role Description Summary:

Grace Fellowship Church is looking for a talented individual to join our Worship Arts team. The Worship Arts Associate will lead worship approximately 8-10 times per year in the main weekend services, lead High School worship on Sunday evenings during the school semesters, contribute toward our creative process for weekend services, and assist our Tech team with producing/running the tech at events as needed. This is a full time position with benefits.

Church Description Summary:

GFC is a church of about 2,000 with a strong commitment to Biblical authority, experiencing God’s grace, and demonstrating love in and around our community. The main service is intergenerational, and the musical style is contemporary, with a mix of styles (closest to Tomlin and Hillsong United).  Newly arranged versions of older hymns are mixed in frequently. Substance always trumps style; however, we aim to always create an engaging time of genuine worship.  Services are themed throughout to bring a cohesive approach to both the musical worship time as well as the message itself. The High School worship experience has talented vocalists, talented musicians, and a fantastic meeting space; however, strong leadership is needed to develop this ministry to its full potential. Experience Summary

The best candidate will have natural talent in leading from the guitar, with solid experience in leading worship in a “contemporary” setting. This candidate will be able to develop a High School band musically and spiritually and will be able to lead confidently from the main platform. Basic experience is necessary with programs like Pro Presenter and Planning Center; however, an advanced knowledge of AVL tech is not necessary.  Knowledge of programs such as Logic Pro X, Ableton, etc are helpful but not necessary. This candidate will be flexible, will strive for excellence, and will love to learn. This is a fantastic first full-time ministry position.
