Vision Africa Ministries, Inc. - Dallas, TX firstname.lastname@example.org
Vision Africa Ministries, Inc. is a Dallas, Texas based 501(c)(3) Christian faith-based mission organization whose purpose is to
“Share God’s Love” with the African people. Vision Africa was founded in 1997 by Rev. Sunday Ndukwo Onuoha, then a Doctoral candidate at the SMU Perkins School of Theology, and a small group of Highland Park
United Methodist Church members. In 2005, Dr. Onuoha was ordained Bishop of Evangelism in the Nigerian Methodist Church.
Vision Africa embraces a God-centered approach that empowers communities to develop, staff, and manage life-changing and sustainable programs in Africa’s most populated country – Nigeria. Vision Africa Radio, Love 104.1 FM, came on the air
in 2005 and its Leadership and Community Service radio broadcasts serve as the organization’s primary outreach tool. Christian radio broadcasts support compassionate faith-based education, evangelism and new church planting (including bibles for pastors),
disease prevention (Ebola, AIDS, malaria and polio) and medical missions, Christian leadership development, and interfaith peace and reconciliation promotion. All of these mission activities, with an average annual $250,000 operating and $100,000 capital
budget, are managed (in association with strategic partnerships) primarily through a Dallas-based Board of Directors and Executive Director (in coordination with a Nigerian-based Radio Manager and Board of Directors). U.S. philanthropy provides the great
majority of the funds necessary to make all these areas of ministry possible. www.VisionAfrica.org
Vision Africa seeks a U.S. Director to continue to manage and increase the non-profit organization’s impressive two decades-long growth supporting the strong impact of the ministry in the developing country of Nigeria and other parts of the continent. Under
an umbrella of passionate concern and strong Christian faith, this Director would need to be effective in donor development, building and maintaining strategic partnerships, volunteer recruitment and management, stakeholder communication, and financial, administrative
and project management. The U.S. Director will report to the President and the U.S. Board, with quarterly goal discussions and a formal annual review.
