MinisterSearch ( is delighted to partner with a church in a sought after area of Dallas that has a great opportunity for a Director of Kids Ministry who loves children and their families and is passionate about them learning about Jesus.

The Director of Kids Ministry reports to and works with the Director of Discipleship and leads a team of lay volunteers to coordinate the mission and vision of the church's children's program. The goal is to improve an already excellent children's ministry by exalting Christ, engaging with children, and equipping and involving parents. They want their children to learn about Jesus, to love Him and desire to follow Him.

Among other qualities, the successful candidate will have a minimum of a 4-year degree, staff experience in a growing, healthy children's ministry, be a leader who can oversee, recruit, and mentor adult lay leaders, and an outgoing, effective communicator to both children and parents growing in their love for and their walk with the Lord.

A great place to work with a close-knit staff, they truly feel like a church family. It's also filled with young families and children! This is a great opportunity for the person who is a hard worker, loves implementing a vision and has a desire to serve the Lord by loving and teaching His precious children.

Located in the "coolest" part of Dallas, this area is artistic, artisan, laid back, and diverse. It has an impressive cultural diversity among its many restaurants, retail shops, arts and entertainment facilities, and schools. Independent and specialty shops and restaurants are very common, although larger retailers and chains are abundant as well. This area has established itself as a cultural and architectural hot-spot in the DFW Metroplex. Add in the amenities offered by its proximity to White Rock Lake and the Dallas Arboretum, along with the many parks, creeks, greenbelts, and towering, mature trees and it is obvious why this community is highly sought after as a place to call 'home.'

This is a young church in an historic neighborhood, with a lot of young people and young families. The church is attractive to residents, has grown quickly, and their ongoing desire is to make a mark in this great community by actively demonstrating the love of God to their neighbors.
