Job Purpose: 


The mission of the  Children's Discipleship Ministries at NOEFC is to raise up a generation of children who are committed to leaving the hand prints of Jesus all over the world. The Children's Ministry Director (CMD) is responsible for the direction, development, and implementation of programs that will enable children (toddlers through grade 6) and their families to walk in a deeper relationship with Jesus and each other.



  • Build relationships with the children of NOEFC and their families
  • Manage Sunday morning and Wednesday evening programs
  • Recruit and train volunteer staff
  • Manage the curriculum of each program
  • Purchase and maintain supplies and materials
  • Manage and promote Nursery and Tiny Tot ministry
  • Actively provide leadership in VBS, Upward Basketball and other programs
  • Serve as class instructor as needed


  • Have a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ
  • Have an educational background in Children's Ministries, Early Childhood Education, and/or Biblical Studies
  • Professional or volunteer experience in Children's Ministry
  • Skill in organization, administration, and interpersonal relationships
  • Operates with professionalism, integrity, and confidentiality and also relates well with children on their level.
  • Musical ability to lead children in worship preferred
