POSITION TITLE: First Impressions Pastor

EXPERIENCE: Relevant Large Church OR Corporate/Hospitality

LOCATION: Corpus Christi, TX

SALARY RANGE: Commensurate with Experience

DENOMINATION: NonDenominational

(https://MinisterSearch.com/) is delighted to partner with a thriving, multi-campus church in Corpus Christi, Texas, in their search for a First Impressions Pastor. With about 10,000 attenders each week, this church is consistently taking bold risks to take the Gospel to people in new and fresh ways. Using non-traditional methods, the church does things that most churches won’t, to reach those who most churches don’t, while still remaining true to the Bible. They are known for the loving, giving and friendly spirit of their people, and are passionate about growing people into a thriving relationship with Jesus Christ. They have a strong missions' emphasis including urban missions downtown as well as international missions and church planting.

Worship here is relevant for all people and is best defined as energetic, inspirational, exciting, and powerful. They believe that the purpose in worship is to know God more and to make His presence known through the creative arts of music, video, graphic arts, and technology. The dress is casual and the teaching is authentic and practical to everyday life.

With their dedication to excellence in all areas of ministry, the church's First Impressions Ministry's uniqueness is found in their opportunity to provide the first glimpse of the church's heart. With 200 front-line volunteers serving each week, that important first impression must be grounded in a culture of heartfelt caring and welcome undergirded by God's love.

Are you an exceptionally relational, organized, high level Leader who thrives on excellence and practices "5-star" attention to detail? Do you have relevant large church pastoral OR corporate/hospitality/front-of-the-house hotel/restaurant, etc., experience where an important part of your position included first impressions with guests or calling on clients as with close attention to follow up and ensuring a continuing excellent experience? Do you recognize leadership potential in others and enjoy developing their gifts and skills into successful team leaders? If your answer to these questions is an enthusiastic "Yes!", then you might be a fit for this position.

Located in the South Texas Gulf Coast, Corpus Christi offers popular attractions, a variety of cultural venues, shopping and dining options, and best of all—South Texas hospitality! The city is also home to the Port of Corpus Christi, the 5th largest port in the nation.

Some of the perks of family life in Corpus Christi include nice communities, excellent schools, low cost of living, and abundant recreational activities. Additionally, with its proximity to the coast, area residents enjoy all the benefits of city living along with being just minutes from the beautiful beaches of South Texas.
