Job Description:

The Student Ministries Director at the Willow Creek Crystal Lake campus will powerfully teach and transformationally lead the building and equipping of Willow Crystal Lake’s student ministries through the collaborative empowerment of staff, volunteers and students.


Job Responsibilities

  • Enhance the teaching and spiritual formation strategy of student ministries and grow students’ in faith ownership and personal calling
  • Develop and launch a comprehensive evangelism/outreach strategy that increases the student ministry’s reach into schools and communities
  • Strategically scale and effectively transition Willow Crystal Lake’s students into a new facility and a new era of expansion
  • Build, empower and mobilize a thriving staff and volunteer culture
  • Participate in and lead campus wide events and teams as needed


Job Requirements

  • Action oriented with excellent drive for results
  • Excellent presentation skills
  • Experience developing direct reports and volunteers
  • Previous experience in high school and middle school ministry
  • Strong understanding of both adolescent and faith development
  • College degree required
  • Spiritual gifts of leadership and creative communication
